Ice Release is also known as Hyoton
. This bloodline is found in members of the Sheema clan who originate from the
Mei Sheema
mist. The head of this clan is Mei Sheema. Originally when the purge started they were attacked and decimated. The remaining members seperated. Naruto tracked the remaining members and was able to save many including Haku and his mother. This clan is made up of seventeen members. fourteen of them joined the ninja ranks. One (Haku) joined the Academy and the las two stayed civilians.

Hyoton gives members the ability to mix the elements water and win to create ice. Members can use variation of everyday jutsu in ice versions as well as special jutsu like Haku's mirrors or the sacrificial jutsu that turns the castor into ice and lets them permanently imprison someone.
